Education Programs
For more than 25 years, Take Stock in Children of Madison has been changing the lives of deserving (or under-served) children by combining in-school support through a college success coach, the promise of a college or vocational school tuition scholarship and most importantly the guidance of a caring mentor.
Our comprehensive wraparound services start in middle school, continue through high school and most importantly, remain through post-secondary completion.

The first step to becoming a mentor is to fill out a mentor application by clicking here. After your application is received, you will then be asked to complete a mentor training online followed by a background check and signing release forms. All this can be done virtually.
If you’re ready to take control of your future, Take Stock Duval, Putnam, Suwannee and Madison can help by providing you with the motivation, support, and academic assistance you need in order to achieve success. This rewarding opportunity provides the promise of a college tuition scholarship, a caring mentor, college readiness coaching, and continuous involvement from college retention specialists to ensure post-secondary success.
We want to see our students succeed, which means we have high expectations and demand accountability among all participants.
Therefore, each student is required to sign a contract promising to abide by the program’s rules in order to attain a tuition scholarship.
Take Stock in Children believes all young people should have access to post-secondary opportunities. Why shouldn’t you? Now is the perfect time to take hold of your future and choose your own path – the path to success.
