How can my business help students in the Alachua area?

Employers can support TWA by requesting interns and accommodating the TWA job coach.

For our business partners, TeenWork Alachua handles student recruitment, student internship placement, orientation and payroll. Employers receive a job coach who acts as a liaison between the business and the student Supervisors then attend an employer training program prior to the students starting work.

This gives employers the opportunity to:

  • Begin creation of a talent pipeline
  • Get the youth’s perspective on their organization
  • Give back to the community through mentorship
  • Gain exposure for their organization
